Encouraging early-career scientists to pursue DOHaD-related investigation and to be successful in networking with established scientists is a highly ranked priority for the DOHaD Society; the 7th World Congress will continue this vital tradition.

In addition to discounted Congress registration rates and events focused on this key group (including: Featured Poster Session for Junior Investigators, Junior Investigator/Junior Faculty Mixer, Meet-a-Mentor Luncheons for Students/Trainees), there are a number of merit-based awards directed towards early career scientists. These are:

The DOHaD Society and the organizers of the 7th World Congress on DOHaD also encourage the participation of scientists from Developing Countries by providing discounted Society membership dues, and heavily discounted Congress registration rates. However, the costs associated with travel and housing may still prove prohibitive to many of these scientists.

Financial assistance for these two groups of scientists is greatly appreciated by the Society, Congress Organizers, and the scientists themselves.
